They see 100 patients in the office per day with 6 - 10 consults in the hospital daily with 30 - 50 procedures per day for the group. The office is open 8 am to 6 pm. The office is 7k square feet with flex sig in office plenty of room. colonoskopy, ERCP, other procedures at the hospital. |

They alternate between the hospital and the clinic. They do all procedures including ERCP and Therapeutics. The hospitalists admit their patients so this is a consultative service. The hospital is 350 beds, 200 physicians on staff, and they have an open heart program. It is a 6 week wait for an appointment. When on call, the doc is at the hospital all week. The other week is 1/2 day in the office and 1/2 day at the GI lab. $250k starting pay with quarterly productivity bonuses, 18 months to partnership with a minimal buy in of $50k for stock in the corporation. This community is close to the ocean. The drawing area totals 200 - 300k. |
